Inspired by the beauty and nature surrounding her in Norway, Maria M. captures the good, the bad and the ugly through her artistic expression. Finding certain beauty in contrast, she highlights the battling opposites residing within, and a certain struggle of choosing between the rational needs and irrational wants.
Whilst not held back by labels of genre, she blends tones of nostalgia, serendipity, lust and pain through her musical expression. Though a singer, first and foremost - she recently dove into the world of production, and finds both joy and frustration in exploring the creation of sound through a medium brand new to her.
